ROCKFORD, Ill.– Kerri Morgan, two-time Paralympic bronze medalist, will deliver the opening keynote address at the Petfood Forum 2013, which will take place April 15-17 in Schaumburg, Ill.
Morgan will appear with her public access dog, which accompanies her almost everywhere she goes. She will talk about assistance dogs and their value to their owners, and will discuss organizations that provide assistance dogs.
In addition, Petfood Forum 2013 will feature more than 25 other expert speakers, including Dr. David Acheson, co-author of the new Food Safety Modernization Act; Dr. George Burdock, who will address the field of nanotechnology and its use in pet food; Dr. Maria Cattai de Gody, describing her research on nutrition and cognitive dysfunction in dogs; and Madalena Spinazzola, a strategic planning and corporate manager at Premier Pet in Brazil, who will explain how the country is poised to become the world’s second largest pet food market.
