Design Lab Appoints VP
Design LAB, Inc. has appointed of Phillip M. Cooper as the company's vice president of pet sales. "We conducted a national search for a candidate that had a thorough understanding of the pet industry coupled with the complete respect from his peers and one name came up repeatedly," said Adam Beatty, company president. White Joins CC Pet Products
Conceptual Creations Pet Products (CCPet) has hired Tom White as company president to oversee business development. White, formerly at T-Rex Products, has eight years' pet industry experience. With CCPet's product-base primarily seated in aquatics and exotic pets, White looks to expand into domestics and private labeling.
New Controller at Oxbow
Patricia Montgomery has joined Oxbow Animal Health as Controller. Montgomery comes to Oxbow with 24 years of accounting management experience in manufacturing, government contracting, and retail environments for privately held and public companies. Oxbow's Controller serves on the top leadership team and is responsible for the financial management of the company. This position oversees all accounting and banking activities, payroll, financial reporting and analysis, purchasing and inventory control, benefits management, and personnel recordkeeping. The Controller is a key designer of systems and procedures that monitor and maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness, and the person serves as an accounting/finance consultant to all department leaders.
Loving Pets Gains Sales Person
Roxy Layton has joined Loving Pets team as sales representative the for New England market, where she will build the Loving Pets/Acurel brand. Layton graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2001 with a degree in marketing and management. She has experience working in retail as a manager and sotry buyer, and has worked for Target as a Guest Executive.
Stella & Chewy's Promotes and Hires
Stella & Chewy's announced the promotion of one staff member and the addition of three new field sales managers to its sales staff.
Doug Siegal has been promoted to Manager of Sales Operations after five years with the company. He will manage and direct operations-related activities in support of the sales organization's efforts in addition to continuing his duties as Mid-West regional sales manager.
The company has hired Catherine A. Ihnachak, Gerry Stewart and Terri Orvella as new field sales managers. Ihnachak takes over as New England sales manager; Stewart has been hired as the company's Mid-Atlantic sales manager; and Orvella becomes Stella & Chewy's Pacific Northwest field sales manager.
Siert to Represent Espree
Tammy Siert, an award-winning Groom Team member, is now representing Espree Animal Products in sanctioned competitions, demonstrations, and will do product consulting and test products. Siert has been grooming in the industry for 19 years and has been an Espree customer since the early 1990's.
