Phillips Builds Sales Force
Phillips Feed and Pet Supply has added four new sales managers and will now deliver from Maine to the Florida Keys.
Russ Watson will lead the sales force for the New England region, in the position of regional sales manager. Ron Vinhateiro will cover Rhode Island and Massachusetts; Linda Lockwood will cover Connecticut; and Chuck Tharp will cover New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
Natura Adds Territory Manager
Natura Pet Products, makers of Innova, EVO, California Natural, HealthWise, Karma and Mother Nature brand pet foods and treats has added Lisa Nicholson to its sales team as Mid-Atlantic territory sales manager. Nicholson’s responsibilities include territory management of Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
New Director of Sales at Timberline
Timberline Live Pet Foods has hired Bobby Blood as its director of sales. Blood, who has had a 20-year executive career in the pet trade with industry leaders Zoo Med Laboratories, Lee’s Aquarium and San Francisco Bay Brand, will be responsible for domestic and international sales growth, customer service enhancement and new product development.
Murray To Oversee shoo!TAG
Energetic Solutions, Ltd. hired Russell Murray, a 30-plus year pet industry veteran, to oversee global sales of its shoo!TAG products. Murray’s past experience includes national accounts manager calling on Petco, PetSmart, WalMart, Central Corp., Orchard’s Supply, Leslie’s Pool Supply and all ecommerce business. Prior to that Murray was an independent representative on the West Coast working with over 30 different manufacturers, is a former PIJAC board member and was also a member of WPA.
Veterinary Ventures adds Banning
Veterinary Ventures has hired Mark Banning as operations manager for its office in Reno, Nev. Banning will oversee the production and distribution of products, while also managing the company’s daily operations. He will be responsible for sales, pricing and measuring productivity and goal achievement to determine cost reduction and program improvement. Banning joins Veterinary Ventures, Inc. with over 14 years of experience as a general enterprise and systems consultant. Prior to joining the company, Banning served as manager for a variety of distribution and manufacturing
companies.
Stella & Chewy’s Promotes and Hires
Stella & Chewy’s announced the promotion of one staff member and the addition of three new field sales managers to its sales staff.
Doug Siegal has been promoted to Manager of Sales Operations after five years with the company. He will manage and direct operations-related activities in support of the sales organization’s efforts in addition to contining his duties as Mid-West regional sales manager.
The company has hired Catherine A. Ihnachak, Gerry Stewart and Terri Orvella as new field sales managers. Ihnachak takes over as New England sales manager; Stewart has been hired as the company’s Mid-Atlantic sales manager; and Orvella becomes Stella & Chewy’s Pacific Northwest field sales manager.
Siert to Represent Espree
Tammy Siert, an award-winning Groom Team member, is now representing Espree Animal Products in sanctioned competitions, demonstrations, and will do product consulting and test products. Tammy has been grooming in the industry for 19 years and has been an Espree customer since the early 1990’s.
